I Need Help

**This is actually an old post I made in April that's been sitting in my drafts folder.  I put an update for where I'm at with each book.  Now to the original post...

As usual, I've got too many books going at once, so let's do a rundown...

E-BOOKS/KINDLE
Hitler's Furies by Wendy Lower (library) Finished.
Dreamfever by Karen Marie Moning (library) Finished.
Wind River by James Reasoner & L.J. Washburn (own) Still reading.
32 Yolks by Eric Ripert (own) Almost done.

PHYSICAL BOOKS
The Orion Plan by Mark Alpert (library) DNF.
Dombey and Son by Charles Dickens (own) Still reading.
The Siege by Helen Dunmore (library) Returned for now.
The Kindly Ones by Jonathan Littell (own) Still reading.
Parallel Stories by Péter Nádas (own) Still reading.
The Leftovers by Tom Perrotta (library) Returned for now.
Manhunt by James L. Swanson (own) Still reading.

Why do I do this to myself?  I need to get a better hang on how many books I read.  I seriously think I have adult ADD, because my mind goes a million miles at once, so my attention span is about the size of my pinky finger.  On the outside, I'm calm, cool and collected.  You might even think a bit dull.  But on the inside, I'm restless and hyper.  Five minutes feels like five hours; I read two pages and feel like I've read twenty.  Then I'll sit for hours doing nothing.  No motivation, procrastination, etc.

Oh well, I'll get it together and thankfully, I'm liking most of the books I'm reading.  In fact, I will finish one today not listed above (since I'm finishing it today - ha!) called The Women in the Walls by Amy Lukavics.
